Punching with swivel-in tool – stack punching

…for flexible and compressible materials

The special thing about this process is that soft and compressible materials, like fleece, felt or comparable material, can be stacked before punching. The swivel-in tool is produced so that the inside is a vertical flank and the outer flank is angled, widening from the cutting edge to the base.  When punching, the tool is simply pressed through the material. The surrounding material is displaced by the tool and pressed outwards.

As a result of the tool shape, this procedure can only be used to punch simple geometric figures.
